We are a medical practice dedicated to serving patients.Prescription Renewals
We want to make sure that you always have the medications you In order to most efficiently meet your needs, we recently established a pharmacy voicemail box. This option can be reached by selecting two and then two again from the automated system. Please leave a detailed message designating your name, medication you need renewed and your pharmacy telephone number. This voicemail is checked by our registered nurse frequently throughout the course of the day. All messages left prior to 4:00 pm will be handled on a same day basis. Calls after 4:00 pm will be handled on the following business day. Please call us at least two weeks before you will run out of your current medication supply. If you don’t give us adequate notice, it is much harder for us to see to it that your refill is ordered. It is essential that you can tell us the exact medication, the dosage and how often you take it. If you have not had a recent visit to your doctor, only a minimal refill will be given. This will prevent you from running out of medication but will allow you to schedule an appointment so your doctor can provide proper supervision. Laboratory Results To simplify reporting of lab tests, we use a notification-by-mail system. Most results are reported to us within 24 hours. Your doctor will review them and send you a report explaining the test results. We will contact you by phone with any urgent problems. After you have reviewed the report, you are always welcome to call with questions. Please allow 5-7 business days before calling us. Other Test Results For all other test results, you will receive a telephone call typically within 24 to 48 hours of your test notifying you of your results. Emergency Appointments Most patients of Park East see one cardiologist within our group on most occasions. If you should have a time sensitive or urgent need, please allow the first available doctor to see you. This will ensure you receive the timeliest care for your needs. |
